One of the highlights of my visit was the ramen bowl: rich, satisfying, and packed with depth of flavor. It's no surprise that patrons rave about it, noting the great value for money. In fact, one visitor, James Cumming, emphasized how the ramen here truly delivers on satisfaction without breaking the bank.
The fried rice also deserves a mention. Options like chicken fried rice and pork fried rice offer comforting warmth, making it a fantastic choice for a quick meal. Add in some spring rolls, and you’ve got a delightful feast without the hefty price tag—just as satisfied customers like Kimberley Sweeney noted during their visit.
For those seeking a refreshing drink, the fruit iced tea selections, including flavors like Pineapple Mango Green Tea and Lychee Black Tea, provide a vibrant and thirst-quenching experience. They are the perfect accompaniment to any meal, adding a fruity flair that perfectly complements the savory dishes.
Don't forget to save room for dessert! Treat yourself to their famous Nanaimo bar or butter tart, with the Nanaimo bar frequently receiving accolades for its scrumptious taste. Although one reviewer mentioned the butter tart could improve, the overall dessert experience at Peak Cafe is certainly worth a try.

Great little fast food cafe. Very quick service and excellent food. We had the meal for 1 (x2) chicken fried rice, broccoli beef or lemon chicken and a pork spring roll, less than 20ca before tax.

Amazing Ramen bowls! I'm really cheap so in general I'm unhappy with restaurant prices these days. However, when you order a ramen bowel here, I fully believe you're getting your full money's worth. It is so good!

I craved some warm soup, so I went for some rice noodle soup at Benff. I opted for takeout from the Benff Hotel. The soup had a delightful flavor, and the rice noodles were pleasantly chewy. Also, the fried rice we ordered was delicious. If you're looking for a simple yet tasty meal, it's worth a try.

Decent food, quite affordable for being in the heart of downtown Banff and by far the cheapest thing we ate while we were there. I had the shrimp egg noodle soup which wasn’t bad, it came with a decent amount of broccoli which I appreciated. My partner had the grilled chicken rice bowl and was happy with it. Really good spring rolls. They also have desserts up front, we tried a Nanaimo bar and a butter tart. The Nanaimo bar was great, butter tart tasted kinda old. If we found ourselves in Banff again we’d probably come back here based just off value alone.

We were visiting lakes around Banff and wanted something hot. Found this place and the ramen was so delicious as well as the rice bowl with chicken and pork. It was very flavorful and the service was good. Also, the matcha cheesecake was very good too.

Some of the best Vietnamese food I've had, no idea why it is rated so low! Make sure to check what the broth base is before ordering, as the shrimp will often have chicken broth in (for halal eaters), which they can easily swap for vegetarian broth if asked.

Really good! I ordered the Vermicelli lemongrass beef bowl and the Shrimp salad roll, 10/10. Good portion, reasonable price.

Peak Cafe in downtown Banff is a great low-budget option for Vietnamese food. My husband and I tried the rice bowl with beef, chicken, and shrimp, as well as the stir-fried rice meal with beef, chicken, and pork. Both dishes were delicious and fresh, with generous portions. The menu offers a variety of options, making it easy to find something for everyone. For anyone looking for a tasty and affordable meal in Banff, Peak Cafe is definitely worth a visit!
